Ashley Frye – President

Ashley is the current President of the Timber Lake HOA board. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, with degrees in Marketing and Masters of Business Administration. She works in Oxford as a Personal Assistant to Dr. Tom Fowlkes. As a strong advocate for public service, Ashley participates in and volunteers for numerous community organizations, including Leadership Lafayette and LOU Ambassadors.

Ashley also serves as an Alumni Advisor for the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority on the UM campus; is the elected Vice President of the Lafayette County Master Gardeners Association; and she is a member of the Young Professionals of Oxford.

Ashley has lived in Timber Lake for six years with her husband, Kevin Frye and their three Great Danes. She is also the new proud mother of two young boys. Ashley enjoys cooking and spending time in her yard and garden with her family and loves making new friends – especially new neighbor friends!

Scott Iverson – Treasurer

Scott has been a member of the board since 2016 and a member of the Timber Lake community since 2014. He has lived in Oxford since his wife accepted an Assistant Professorship in 2012. Prior to living in Oxford he and his wife lived in Austin, TX, Chicago, IL and Iowa City, IA. Scott works as a Product Manager at FNC | CoreLogic and spends the bulk of his non-work hours with his young son. Most frequently, you’ll find Scott by the lake teaching his child how to cast a lure.

In addition to being an employee, a dad and a spouse, Scott acts as Timber Lake’s Treasurer and ad-hoc webmaster. He also serves on the board of Hopewell Water, which provides our community safe and cost-effective drinking water.

Sue Bennett

Sue Bennett has lived in Timber Lake for eleven years. She moved here with her late husband, Harry, after Hurricane Katrina claimed their Biloxi home. She taught English at Gulf Coast Community College and raised three children while Harry was in the Air Force. She grew up in Oklahoma and loves the South and its charm. Sue enjoys playing the piano, writing corny verses, reading, Mah Jongg, Tai Chi, and crossword puzzles. Most of all, she treasures her Timber Lake friends.

Jason Hoeksema

Jason, along with his wife Tiffany Bensen and their ‘fur children’ (Penguin the dog, and cats Bella and Rudy) have been in Oxford since 2007, but moved into their new house at Timber Lake since spring of 2015. Jason joined the Timber Lake board in 2017. He is a professor in the Department of Biology at Ole Miss, where he studies ecology and evolution of plants and fungi, and teaches classes about mushrooms, birds, coevolution, and data analysis (and has an office next door to Tiffany, who also teaches in the Department of Biology). He is an active member of the Oxford community, having spent time as a board member of the Midtown Farmer’s Market, president of the Oxford Community Garden, and president of a non-profit bird conservation organization, Delta Wind Birds. He is originally from Michigan, graduated from the University of Michigan, and has a PhD in Ecology from the University of California, Davis. In his spare time, you might find Jason birding, mushrooming, baking bread, paddle-boarding on Timber Lake, or trying to learn French.

Eddie Clinton

If you know anything about sports, you know Oxford Newcomers Club (ONC) board member, Eddie Clinton. Originally from Tennessee, Eddie had a career in sports management, insurance, and owned Clinton Graphics in Memphis. He is on the Board of Directors of numerous sports associations including the National Association of Sports Commissions, the AAU Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, and has achieved many volunteer accomplishments as a youth basketball coach. We could go on and on. We appreciate his background, talents, and his passion for ONC and the section he chairs, Ole Miss Athletics. Most of all he is just a terrific leader and friend to many.

Crystal Elliott

Crystal has served on the board for several years. Her husband, Jason, and their four children live in Timber Hollow. They’ve lived in the neighborhood since 2012.
